The Real Review on the 2019: Really deep, dark and opaque in the glass. Aromas are well and truly in the dark spectrum, liqueured plums, after dinner mints, graphite and some charry oak. The flavours are dark and brooding, blood plums, dark chocolate and there's a decent drive of tannin and acid to keep all this in check. A bit old school, but delivers big time for the dollars 90/100. Aaron Brasher.
Huon Hooke, The Real Review: 90 points - With its deep purple/red colour, this outstanding value for money shiraz has a sharp-edged aromatic pepper-spice, floral bouquet. A
trace of graphite. The palate is elegant and firm, taut and slightly drying. It’s not big on fruit sweetness or opulence, but is savoury and
punches well above its weight. 2018 vintage
Dan Traucki on the 2018 RESERVE Barossa Shiraz:
Bright purple in colour, alluring aromas of pepper, plums & blackberries with a big rich mouthful of flavour with balanced acidity & a long lingering divine finish. POSITIVELY GORGEOUS!!

2018: Reserve Shiraz for $20. Unheard of! But don’t be taken aback by the inexpensive price tag for the lofty title. This is a good buy. Blackberries and black plums feature high. It starts off course but then runs smooth. Dark Chocolate, woodsy spices and fine pepper roll on but there is a firm grasp in the mouth. A lick of dried herbs adds to the long finish. Steaks and rosts plus this equals job done. Q wine, August 2020.
